We offer a full assortment of DLP lamps for virtually any make and model. We make DLP Lamp Replacement an Easy, Affordable process. With the help of Fairway Electronics, your TV will be back to working condition in minutes. Our lamps are all original and carry a one year warranty.

The DLP & LCD lamps we offer are original manufacturer replacement lamps only. We do not offer generic reproduction lamps commonly referred to as "OEM Compatible". Generic DLP & LCD lamps have a high failure rate and a much shorter life span. Purchasing your lamp from the manufacturer can also cost much more since you are buying both the lamp and the housing. The lamp is the only expendable part in the housing.

Cheap is not always better:

Non-Genuine lamps include copy and counterfeit lamps that do not guarantee the same performance as genuine original lamps. Whenever a non-genuine lamp is used, there is a risk that the use of substandard components and build techniques will result in a shorter life of the lamp or of the projector and may even represent a danger to users.

By selecting a genuine replacement lamp for your TV or Projector you are assured the very best in brightness, color, safety and product life.

A DLP (digital light processing) lamp is the main source of light in a rear screen projection television set. DLP lamps do tend to age after a few years, with the length of time depending on the brand used and how many hours you have your TV set on. The more the lamp is used, the more the mercury vapor arc tube's electrodes wear out. What you'll notice is that your picture is dimmer or that you don't get any picture at all. The good news is that you only have to replace the DLP lamp, not the whole television, and it's something you can do in about 5-15 minutes
Bulb Life:

Regarding how long DLP lamps last, as mentioned, it depends on the brand of the lamp. Philips and Osram are two of the most dependable brands, and you don't want to buy a remanufactured lamp. While the older DLP lamps last between 1,000 and 2,000 hours, the newer ones can give you 6,000 to 7,000 hours worth of TV viewing. How many years this actually translates into depends on how many hours a day you sit in front of your TV set.
